Finally

After almost a week and a half my boss is returning from vacation. Praise Be! She is a good friend as well as my immediate supervisor. Plus with the whole thing she had going on with trying to transfer and maybe getting it, then not getting it, and having her job posted for transfers, and me thinking that I should apply. All for naught.

Babysat last week, but it was my last time. I really miss those kids now. If they hadn't moved we could have had a long relationship. Sniff. The next two days after they left I was still really "on." Thinking I heard them, like I was still on the job.

I have got on every good prospect at work. The boy is all over me. Why? I have no idea. Always calling me Babe and what not. But I do the same thing to everybody. And yesterday he was really rubbing on my arm whilst standing next to me. Plus he is the perfect height. Head to shoulder resting ratio achieved! The bad part? He is only 18 and a freshman in college. Too young! Plus he goes to school somewhere else and is back for the summer. I'm pretty sure its in KY but I can't remember.

I'm about 1/2 inch into my Jaywalker, and I did my first short row tow and have moved on to the foot of my first toe up from the flo up sock. I would have started the second already but I only have one ball of yarn. Maybe tomorrow I will split and wind two balls.

so that's what, 8 years or so? hmm, maybe just a tad too much. I've done 6 years difference before but 8 might be pushing it.

the young'ans are the best. I'm 6 years older than Alex and is working just fine =)...except for the occasional crack about my age... or his age...he likes to think he looks younger than me but we look about the same. So, yeah...go for it!
